The history of Lafont
Since 1844, the Lafont brand has been manufacturing workwear for demanding professionals. The story began
more than 175 years ago… when Adolphe Lafont invented the first professional garment. He then created functional work trousers for his carpenter father-in-law: the largeot. Then the salopette (largeot to which a bib has been added), whose initial model, the cotte 406, is still in the Lafont catalogue, over 100 years after its creation. Then the overalls, also adopted in the city. Since then, the brand has continued to observe users in their daily lives and work environments, whatever their sector of activity, in order to offer a range of professional clothing adapted to each profession.
